As usual presentation and service were top notch. The scent smelled good and is very rich and strong. I am a female who dabbles in some masculine scents but this was too masculine for me. Well I don’t know if it was too masculine or just too strong for my taste but it’s not something I’d wear. With that being said I know many women who like this scent. I have the Egyptian Soirée so I have the Egyptian Mystery to my husband as the other match for a his and her set. I will be waiting on another feminine scent from this house. I’d love to smell something sweet and syrupy like a dark ripe plum w honey… something sweet feminine, and sultry. I love this house

It was a complete blind buy but I am absolutely in love . If you are looking for a sultry full bottle “ omg “ scent that will not smell like anyone else , than look no further! It’s unisex ! It’s smoky .. creamy a bit dark it’s HYPNOTIC!

The scent profiles sounded great and I missed getting this one on initial launch. I had high hopes because I love all of its notes, but something in this one didn’t work for me. It may be too strong? There’s a tone to it that ages it, and not in an exotic tomb kind of way. It’s pretty, but definitely go lightly on it, as it can easily over power. I think I prefer Vanilla Azure because it’s a little more subtle. This one can definitely be unisex. It’s nice, just won’t be a strong, signature scent for me, not without layering it with something that will tone down the sharp scent my nose focuses on. I still recommend it because sphinx does some lasting, beautiful scents. I’d recommend trying the trial out before buying full size (my mistake). This fragrance is what I could understand getting all the hype that a PDM Althair gets, but there is a caveat... This one blows the doors off of that DNA. Egyptian Mystery is rich, warm and addictive, it's bold, mysterious and alluring... Simply put it is everything that you would want and need in a fragrance. Sphinx is genuinely my favorite house. I consider Wood of Gods my signature scent, but this one sits RIGHT next to her. Egyptian Mystery is fantastic, it's so warm without being heavy, sticky, or cloying. I'm not a gourmand girl, so this is exactly what I needed in my collection. All of Sphinx fragrances are so rounded and balanced, and despite lasting all day, I never get bored of them. Egyptian Mystery is definitely unisex, it's like a **** cozy scent haha. Sorry I always sound like an ad when I talk about Sphinx but I genuinely love them!

Bottle #8 in my Sphinx collection! Absolutely love this scent!! Its been out if stock for so long. Jumped on it right away and i an so glad I dis. Spicy, ambery, with a masculine almost creaminess to it. Cant wait for colder weather to rock this all the time.

Not what I was expecting based on the notes but still a nice fragrance.

Sphinx, fragrance are different than a lot of other perfumes. Truly a niche fragrance house. Love all the ones I have bought and really enjoy wearing Egyptian Mystery.

I have 6 different fragrances from Sphinx Fragrances. Each one is amazing individually. Egyptian Mystery is my most favorite purchase to date. It’s a complex, non cloying, sweet, warm, delicious, unisex, scent. It’s definitely unisex. This one does not smell like anything else. Don’t walk, but instead, RUN to buy this. You will not be disappointed. Sphinx Fragrances have the best performance out of all other niche fragrance houses. They last long and have beast mode projection with just the right amount of sillage. Grab this as soon as you can. I will buy a second back up battle as soon as it’s available.

First of all I can’t say enough about this company’s customer service! I ordered this fragrance the second it released and I had asked if I I could pay for quicker shipping so I could take it on my trip with me. What they actually did left me speechless! They sent it to me early before the actual release date and expedited it at no extra cost to me to make sure I had it for my trip!!! That level of customer service just isn’t seen these days. I’m a customer for life based on that alone. Now let’s get to this fragrance! Oh my god!!!! It is so **** and alluring!
