Horchata De Vanille

I've been wanting to check out Sphinx for a while & the Black Friday deals were my chance!

Very impressed from beginning to end. Easy to navigate website, average shipping time, magnetic box, 2 chunky sized free samples with testing strips, gorgeous deep hot pink bottle, great cap - metal, heavy, well embossed with company logo, satisfying snap close - & label - also metal, I like the logo name design & I appreciated the peel off sticker to prevent scratches. Plastic atomizer but it distributes in a wide full puff.

Now, for the fragrance itself...I ordered Horchata de Vanille & it was everything I wanted it to be + a bit more! I could smell this as soon as the cap came off, didn't even need to spray. First hit is hard cinnamon, much more like the alcoholic brand, Fireball, than bakery buns with icing. Very lively, I can see the comparisons to Angel Share there. Drydown starts somewhat quickly & has a long lasting mellow creamy rice end with a robust oomph that I didn't expect from a vanilla. Very strong, even one spray is quite noticeable. Lasts around 6 hours on my skin, much longer on clothes.

My samples were Strawberry Kiss & Strawberry Sugar High. I haven't used them enough for a rounded out review but the initial test sprays were pleasing for both. SK had a longer lasting time.

Overall, 5 shiny gold stars & looking forward to investigating more of the line. Bravo!

This perfume smell really good. It does smell like Horchata, sweet, cinnamon, but not too sweet. I smelled the perfume like around 7 hours. I would say excellent quality! delivery fast and well packaged.

When sprayed, the first thing I smell is the cinnamon. After about a 1/2 hour the milk, cream and vanilla REALLY pop through. It smells delicious and stands out from other dessert perfumes. I like to pair this with Eqyptian Sugar Soiree (thank you Sphinx for providing it as a free sample!) as the two combined make me smell DECADENT. The scent lasts all day. I bought both full size bottles.

This is so yummy. It is cinnamon spiced just right, sweet, warm blended to perfection. This makes me feel fierce and delicious! It's early fall but I can tell I am just going to love this throughout the colder months.
